As an American, we should all be a part of the process. As we promote Democracy in other countries, we encourage people who have murdered, stolen, molested and destroyed to become a part of  the democratic process, yet here at home anyone convicted of a felony, is no longer an active citizen. Only direct acts against this nation or treasion should be grounds to exclude a person from the voting process.
